Our Director of Housing and Community Servicess Development is Mr. J V Chivavaya, Mr Chivavaya joined Marondera Municipality in 2014 hosuing and community services issues concerning Marondera Municipality.

Our Housing Section is under the Finance Director's Department focusing on:
- Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of housing policies
- Co-ordinating and evaluating housing projects undertaken by council
- Billing
- Administration of the housing estate
- Assessing the housing demand and supply
- Compiling and monitoring the housing waiting list
