Revenue Collection

Our Revenue Collection Section is under the Finance Director's Department focusing on:

  • Receipting and Banking
  • Billing
  • Meter Reading
  • Debt Collection
  • Finance Reporting

Our Revenue Collection System

Currently Marondera is utilising an Enterprise Rource Planning (ERP) from Axis Solutions to effectively Bill and provide the best financial support for the Marondera Municipality

Expenditure

Our Expenditure Section is under the Finance Director's Department focusing on:

  1. For formulating and implementing expenditure strategy and policy
  2. Expenditure costing, control and payment
  3. Daily cash posting of payments to the cashbook
  4. Preparation of monthly expenditure listings
  5. Preparation of utility bills
  6. Creditors reconciliation and invoicing
  7. Bank Reconciliations
  8. Preparation of VAT and informal traders tax returns
  9. Authorization of payments
  10. Preparation of monthly reports
  11. Filing of payment vouchers and bank statements

Valuation

Our valuation Section is responsible for :
Preparation of the valuation roll
Supplementary valuation roll
Valuation of properties for sale and rentals
